01 / The experience
The Climb uses the headset and controllers to place you on a virtual rock face. Look around the route, choose your next grip and use hand movements to work your way through the climb.
The sense of height and scale is central to the experience. Detailed environments and the changing viewpoint make the journey part of the reward, alongside reaching the next point on the route.
Progress depends on reading the route and deciding where to reach next. Some holds need a more deliberate approach, and balancing speed with care becomes part of the climb. Looking away from the rock face reveals the landscape and the height you have gained, connecting the physical hand movements with a growing sense of achievement.
02 / Experience highlights
Use your controllers to choose holds and make progress through the virtual route. Choosing grips and planning the next reach makes the route a sequence of decisions rather than one repeated motion.
The landscape around you gives each movement a strong visual context. Landscapes and environmental sound reinforce the changing view as you move along the rock face.
Working through the route gives the session a clear challenge and a series of small achievements. Working through more demanding stretches asks for concentration, route planning and control of your movements.
