Social play / Virtual reality events
Bring people into a shared virtual space for games and activities. Rec Room combines social interaction with a range of playful environments, giving guests different ways to take part.
01 / The experience
Rec Room brings games, activities and social spaces together inside virtual environments. Participants use the headset and controllers to interact with objects and with other people in the experience.
Its variety is part of the appeal. There are different activities to discuss when choosing content for your audience, with social interaction connecting the experiences.
The selected room and activity shape the session. One experience may focus on a sporting challenge, while another puts social interaction or a game at the centre. Participants share the environment and respond to other people as well as the virtual objects, making the group itself part of what gives the activity its character.
02 / Experience highlights
Meet other participants in virtual spaces designed around social interaction. Meeting and interacting with other participants creates opportunities for conversation alongside the activity itself.
Explore games and sporting themes to find a format that fits the planned session. The range of sporting, gaming and social experiences gives the session more than one possible direction.
Use controllers to engage with objects and activities inside the virtual world. Reaching for objects and responding to others ties physical controller movements to events inside the room.
