01 / The experience
Project CARS 2 places you inside the car as you read the track ahead. Steering, braking and acceleration become part of a continuous challenge to take each corner and build a cleaner lap.
A racing rig with a wheel and pedals adds a seated driving setup to the experience. The physical controls connect your movements to the virtual car and give the activation a clear sporting focus.
A lap combines several decisions: where to brake, how much steering to apply and when to accelerate out of a corner. The racing wheel and pedals give those inputs a physical form, while the seated rig supports the cockpit viewpoint. Repeating a lap lets you work on individual sections and see how they affect the overall result.
02 / Experience highlights
Look into the track from the driver’s position and experience its corners from within the car. The view from inside the car helps connect the approaching corner with the steering and braking decisions you make.
Discuss a racing-rig setup that brings physical driving controls into the virtual experience. A seated rig, steering wheel and pedals bring the interaction closer to the familiar arrangement of a car.
Work on your line and timing, with lap results providing a focus for friendly challenges. Comparing lap times gives the session a concrete challenge, with consistency as well as speed contributing to progress.
