01 / The experience
Fruit Ninja takes its familiar fruit-slicing idea into a virtual arena. Use your controllers to cut through fruit as it flies towards you, responding to its direction and timing.
The concept is quick to understand, but improving your accuracy gives you a reason to try again. Physical movement makes the action engaging for the player and easy for people nearby to recognise.
The action tests how quickly you can turn what you see into a movement. Fruit arrives through the virtual space, and each swing is a chance to improve the timing and accuracy of your slice. A short attempt has an obvious objective, while repeating the challenge gives you a way to compare your progress.
02 / Experience highlights
Slice the incoming fruit and work towards a better result during your turn. The familiar fruit-slicing concept gives newcomers a clear idea of what they are trying to do as soon as play begins.
Coordinate your movements with the fruit’s path through the virtual space. Responding to fruit moving through the arena brings hand-eye coordination into the centre of the experience.
