Social viewing / Virtual reality events
Bring people together in a virtual viewing room. Bigscreen lets an audience share films, videos and conversation in a VR space, adding a different setting to familiar screen-based content.
01 / The experience
Bigscreen is a social viewing platform built around the feeling of being in the same room. Participants meet in a virtual environment and watch content together with synchronised playback and conversation.
For an event, that can mean giving existing video content a new setting. A traditional 2D film remains a film on a screen, but the audience experiences it from within a shared virtual room.
The shared room is more than a backdrop: it gives people a place to talk about what they are watching. Participants can socialise around a film, video or presentation while still feeling part of a group. The source experience also includes interactive tools, such as a virtual whiteboard, for sessions where drawing and discussion are useful.
02 / Experience highlights
Shared playback lets participants follow the same content at the same time. Synchronised playback keeps the group at the same point in a video, supporting shared reactions and conversation.
The room around the screen provides a social setting for conversation and reactions. Participants can create virtual rooms and invite others, bringing the group into one viewing environment.
Show existing video material inside a virtual viewing space, with the audience seated within the digital setting. A business can reuse its existing 2D video material, presenting it on a screen within the surrounding VR space.

Bigscreen offers a different direction from a competitive game. It is an option to discuss for group viewing, presentations and demonstrations of social VR.
We can help plan the equipment, selected content and connectivity for the intended session. The viewing experience can be arranged around your audience and presentation goals.
